We provide a personal customer service where you will benefit from our experience and knowledge as we guide you through the options finalising on a design that is right for you. Our expert stone masons fabricate to your specific design and take pride installing the finished product. Often sooner but we work to a maximum 7-10 working days from template to fit. We are experts in stone, whether your project is for your own home or a commercial project we are happy to discuss requirements.
MEASURING & BESPOKE TEMPLATING
The process of bespoke templating and machining for stone worktops is a critical aspect of modern interior design and architecture. Stone, as a natural material, offers unique aesthetic qualities and durability, making it a popular choice for kitchen and bathroom surfaces. However, the inherent variability in stone's texture, color, and structure necessitates precise measurements and customizations to ensure both functionality and visual appeal. Bespoke templating serves as the initial phase in this process, where templates are created to match the specific dimensions of the intended installation area.
Once the template has been established, machining follows suit; this involves cutting and finishing the stone according to the bespoke specifications derived from the template. We use Advanced CNC (Computer Numerical Control) & Water Jet technology allowing our stonemasons to execute complex designs. The combination of skilled craftsmanship with technological innovation results in high-quality worktops tailored to your requirements while maintaining highest workplace standards.
WORKSHOP FABRICATION
Fabrication at our workshop is a meticulous process. Our skilled stonemasons inspect the slabs and layout the template not only to ensure economic use of the stone but more importantly the products aesthetic. The stone is then cut using the latest precision water jet machinery. Cut outs for hobs, sinks and drainer slopes/flutes using CNC technology or routers are added. The next process is to take off the sharp edges and add profile. Either a pencil round or bevel are added unless in the design process a more intricate profile is specified. The edges are polished and finally the stone is inspected to ensure precise dimensions, uniform polish and flawless edges.
