NATURAL STONE
Natural stone is a popular choice for countertops, for their natural and timeless beauty created by mother nature. Organic and 100% recyclable. Long lasting and incredibly durable.
Stone is porous and requires sealing in some cases annually and others once every 7 – 10 years. A very simple procedure of applying and allowing to dry (perhaps overnight). With this minimal maintenance you will ensure protection against staining and resistance to bacteria. This makes them a hygenic choice for food prep.
No two slabs are identical so you will truly have a unique bespoke countertop. In addition to samples we have you are invited to visit our suppliers to not only choose the stone you love but the individual slabs that will be installed in your home.
Artic Blue Granite
MARBLE
Marble a metamorphic rock formed when sediment crystalizes under heat or pressure. A timeless visually stunning material with beautiful veining and crystal forms. It has an aesthetic appeal and comes in a variety of colours and pattern.
It is heat resistant (though trivets are recommended to prevent risk of thermal shock). While marble offers many benefits, it is a ‘soft’ stone and is susceptible to scratching and staining. Marble develops a patina overtime which some will see as adding to its charm. Proper sealing and regular maintenance are essential to keep it looking at its best. Loved by designers often associated with high-end kitchen designs.

GRANITE
Granite is an igneous rock formed from the crystallization of magma. It is a hard stone making it extremely durable, with a depth and sheen giving it a luxurious quality. It has a wide range of colours and patterns from subtle specks to dramatic swirls.
Highly durable with heat and scratch resistance but chopping boards and trivets are still recommended to keep the stone immaculate. When properly sealed granite is resistant to staining.
Granite worktops are a premium feature in any home.
Granite Slab - River White
QUARTZITE
Quartzite (not to be confused with quartz) is a metamorphic rock formed when quartz rich sandstone is subjected to heat and pressure. Next to diamonds and rubies it is extremely hard. Known for its glassy appearance and veining has a look of marble but significantly harder.
Exceptional durability highly resistant to heat and scratches but again use a chopping board and trivet to maintain its surface for many years to come. Quartzite has low porosity and when properly sealed makes it resistant to stains. Quartzite countertops are a high-end feature in any home.
