EDGE PROFILES

As standard the edge profile will either be PENCIL ROUND which is a simple straight edge slightly eased/rounded to take off the sharp edge or a BEVEL which is cut at an angle removing the sharp edge.

Other profiles are available and can enhance the overall look/design each with their benefits. The stone thickness can impact which profiles are possible and they do not apply to porcelain. Profiling does impact cost carrying a lines meter charge.

HOB & WALL CLADDING

Stone cladding can be used to match your kitchen design whether as a simple splashback behind the hob or full wall coverage. Stone is highly resistant to heat, making it the ideal material behind the hob. Resilient and easy to clean.

Full wall cladding has become popular as the consistency elevates the overall aesthetic making the space polished and cohesive.

WINDOWCILLS & UPSTANDS

Upstand window cill and undercill are a practical and aesthetically pleasing solution to those ‘messy area’s’. They protect the wall area directly behind the worktop from splashes and stains and also prevent water seeping behind. They will hide any gaps where the worktop meets the wall particularly but not exclusively in older properties with imperfect walls. Easy to clean and hygienic. They are functional practical and stylish.

More importantly they can have a negligible cost as often there will be excess stone within the slab and we do not charge extra for their fabrication and fit - we are always happy to advise.
